Inaugural John Molson Perspectives Flash Talks event brings researchers and industry leaders together

The John Molson School of Business recently hosted the inaugural John Molson Perspectives Flash Talk event on Friday, March 13, 2026, bringing together faculty members, graduate students and industry professionals for a morning of rapid research presentations and knowledge exchange.
The event featured 14 presenters, each delivering short flash talks highlighting key insights from their ongoing research. Designed to maximize exposure to diverse ideas, the format allowed attendees to quickly engage with a wide range of research topics within a compact session.

During the one-hour presentation segment, researchers briefly introduced their work and shared key findings related to contemporary issues in business and management. The concise format enabled presenters to communicate the core ideas of their projects while sparking curiosity among the audience.
Following the presentations, attendees participated in a one-hour networking session, where discussions continued in a more informal setting. This portion of the event provided an opportunity for participants to ask questions, exchange perspectives and explore potential collaborations.
