The 2021 edition of The Economist’s annual Which MBA? survey has ranked Concordia’s John Molson MBA program 68th in the world, its highest placement to date in the survey and up from 91st in 2019. The program also placed 4th in Canada.

“We are extremely proud of our MBA program, and this year’s ranking further solidifies the value in pursuing a John Molson MBA degree,” says Anne-Marie Croteau, dean of the John Molson School of Business. “This degree will open doors for our students, both locally and internationally.”

The program’s top marks were for its ability to open new career opportunities. The Economist ranked the John Molson MBA 26th globally and number two in Canada in the category.

“The John Molson MBA is a practical degree,” explains Anne Beaudry, MBA program director. “What our students learn in the classroom is directly applicable in real-life scenarios. With a distinct focus on case-based learning and amazing experiential learning opportunities, employers and recruiters see the value in a John Molson MBA graduate.”

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound effect on education around the world, of course. With the shift to distanced learning, John Molson MBA program students have successfully experienced an immersive and engaging virtual learning environment.

“When considering MBA programs, the John Molson School of Business was my first choice,” says Amanda Rushton (MBA 20), now senior associate, deals strategy and value creation, at PwC Canada in Toronto. “I knew that I wanted to be part of a community that emphasizes authenticity, collaboration, diversity and engagement through experiential learning. The John Molson MBA was key in opening the right doors to allow me to start growing my career.”
