Amazing cookies commissioned for the lab by Meera Ganesh as a thank-you for a great term

The Summer 2021 term came to a festive end and many congratulations are in order. We are happy to report that Joey Ricardo-Noordberg successfully defended his Research Proposal/Comprehensive Exam and has officially become a PhD student. Joey will continue his work on photonic materials for photoelectrochemical cells. Congrats!

The group would also like to congratulate Joseph Daniel Chiong and Meera Ganesh who successfully completed and defended their CHEM 419 Specialization Projects at the end of August. Very nice work from these two intrepid undergraduates.

The Solar Energy Conversion Group's ranks have not diminished, as we're happy to welcome Victoria Lapointe and Linyi Wei back for MSc degrees, Max Dion-Globensky has returned (after a brief hibernation) to join the lab as a CHEM 419 student, while Cristina Pomilio and Shaifa Rahman have also joined the team for their CHEM 419 projects. Welcome all, and cheers to what will definitely be a busy but exciting Fall 2021.
