Do you want to carve pumpkins for Halloween? Want to help us compost the leftover food waste?
ABCompost is hosting a Sustainable Pumpkin Carving Workshop! We’ll be carving pumpkins for Halloween and feeding the pumpkin waste to our vermicomposters.
Participants can drop in to carve their pumpkin. Pumpkins and carving tools will be provided.
This is a pay-what-you-can event to help cover the costs of tools and pumpkins. Our recommended donation is $5 per person, but participants can donate whatever they can afford.
This event is part of Campus Sustainability Month at Concordia, a month-long series of sustainability events and activities.
