Why do investors panic when the market drops or rush to buy when prices are rising? Understanding the psychology behind investing can help you make more informed financial decisions. 

In this workshop, you'll explore how emotions, biases and social influences shape investor behaviour and influence the market. You'll learn the basics of behavioural finance, recognize common thinking traps that can affect investment decisions and discover strategies to help you invest with greater confidence and discipline. 

You will learn to: 

  • Understand how emotions influence investing decisions 
  • Explain the basics of behavioural finance 
  • Recognize common biases that can lead to poor investment decisions 
  • Explore how news, trends and investor behaviour influence the market 
  • Apply strategies to make more informed investment decisions
