Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) are core business drivers and values at RBC Capital Markets that enable our clients to thrive and our communities to prosper. We are dedicated to creating a culture of inclusion where all employees have the opportunity to bring their best self and achieve their full potential.
D&I Discovery Day highlights the firm's diverse and inclusive culture, with a spotlight on our active Employee Resource Group network and our many student opportunities across Capital Markets. This virtual global program will provide first year university and college students across North America an opportunity to engage in skill-building sessions while learning more about RBC's culture, platform, people, and internship programs across all businesses.
D&I Discovery Day is an annual April event hosted during Speak Up for Inclusion month at RBC Capital Markets. This year's program will be a half-day virtual event designed to showcase the people and culture of RBC Capital Markets, as well as the firm's long-standing commitment to D&I.
All first year undergraduate students are welcome to apply. Attendees will participate in skill-building and educational sessions and as well as regional breakouts to learn more about the platform, people, and student opportunities specific to their region.
The event will include students from across Canada and the United States who will participate in a half-day event led in partnership with RBC's Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), which include:
RWomen, promoting gender diversity and inclusion involvement, education and special purpose events
RBC MOSAIC, helping Newcomers and Minorities thrive and succeed
RBC PRIDE, supporting LGBTQ+ employees and Allies
RFuture, advancing the next generation of leaders at the firm
Royal Eagles, supporting aboriginal culture in and out of RBC
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO REGISTER?
Enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program in an accredited university or college in Canada with an expected graduation date between December 2023 and June 2024
A keen interest in the financial services industry and Diversity & Inclusion
