Start your Winter term with a clear, well-organized Moodle course and the confidence to use Moodle’s most important tools effectively. This hands-on workshop blends a short refresher on course setup with a practical walkthrough of the three features faculty rely on most at the start of term: quizzes, grading workflows, and basic course organization. Participants are asked to bring their laptops to the workshop.
Whether you're new to Moodle or looking to refine your course setup, you'll leave with concrete strategies, example workflows, and guided support to help you build or improve your actual Winter course site.
After the main session, participants are invited to stay for an optional guided “boot-camp” period, where CTL and IITS technologists will be available to answer individual questions and support you directly on your course. This optional boot-camp is available to in-person participants only. Online participants who wish to work directly on their Moodle course are encouraged to book individual support with IITS and/or the CTL.
