Men’s soccer alumni reunion: 1976 championship team

Members of the 1976 men’s soccer championship team are invited to get off the sidelines, reconnect with long-lost friends, revisit the pitch, and meet members of the current Stingers team and coaching staff.

Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate the 50th anniversary. Okay,  technically we are short one year but who is counting! Your team is the first and only Concordia Stingers men’s soccer team to earn a national championship!

To celebrate this milestone, your team will be honoured during the Concordia Stingers men’s soccer game at half-time.

11:00 a.m. Welcome: Refreshments and T-shirt handout
11:15 a.m. Alumni game (30-45 minutes)
12:00 p.m. Stingers team warm-up. Canteen opens ($)
1:00 p.m. Men’s game: Stingers vs UQAM
1:45 p.m. Half time ceremony: 1976 team honoured + all soccer alumni picture
3:30 p.m. Women’s game: Stingers vs UQAM

$10 per person. Your registration includes:

• Complimentary refreshments at the Welcome table
• Complimentary T-shirt (first come first served and while supplies last)
• Complimentary admission to the Stingers men’s and women’s soccer games
• Participation in the half-time ceremony of the men’s game

We are seeking team leads who are willing to engage alumni and help to spread the word amongst former teammates; if you are interested to help, contact Joe Dakkak.

Register by Friday, September 2. When you register, please indicate whether you will play in the alumni game and identify which position you would ideally prefer to play.
