An assortment of colourful fresh ingredients, including plantains, coconut, tomatoes, peppers, herbs, rice, beans, and spices arranged on a wooden table. Celebrating culture, community, and sustainability through fresh ingredients and shared food traditions.

Food is more than just nourishment. It connects us to our cultures, traditions, and communities. But with rising food costs, how can we make nutritious and culturally meaningful meals more affordable and accessible?

Join us for a hands-on cooking class exploring the connections between food, culture, affordability, and sustainability!

Through cooking, conversation, and shared experiences, participants will discover practical ways to prepare affordable, nutritious meals while celebrating diverse cultural food traditions. Whether you're an experienced cook or just getting started, this workshop is an opportunity to learn new skills, exchange ideas, and connect with others in the Concordia community.

No cooking experience is required! All food and ingredients will be provided.

This event is free, but spaces are limited and advance registration is required.
