Cinema Poilitica Concordia - IN THIS TOGETHER
IN THIS TOGETHER (2026) is an experimental documentary about Uber drivers in Amsterdam organizing against exploitation, precarious working conditions, and algorithmic management.
Using an audio recording of a real exchange, reenactment, and a collaborative filmmaking approach, director Lisette Olsthoorn brings together former Uber drivers and actors to revisit a conversation between drivers and Uber office workers during protests at the company's headquarters.
Blurring the boundaries between documentary and performance, the film raises questions about power, labour, solidarity, and the human relationships behind the platform economy.
Reactions from audiences:
“I will never sit in an Uber cab the same as I did before I watched this film.”
“This film addresses so much more than Uber. It deeply touches issues of racism and class inequalities. This should be seen.”
