The FOFA Gallery and Art Volt are excited to invite you to a convocation celebration! Join us at the FOFA Galley on Monday, June 15th for a snack and a chat before heading to Place des Arts to snatch your diploma!

The 2026 Art Volt Collection launch exhibition will be on display in the galleries, showcasing artworks by 14 recent alumni joining this year’s cohort. The Art Volt team will be present to answer your questions about their programs and resources available after graduation.

To mark the occasion, the FOFA Gallery will be launching the 2026 edition of the Undergraduate Student Exhibition catalogue, grieving reveries. Come grab your copy and congratulate this years’ contributors: Kate Bursey, Chloe Kim Marchal, Emitees Tajdari, Rebekah Walker, Cato Usher, Anna Huang, and Jeremy Rivest. The commissioned catalogue essays are also available online on FOFA’s website. In addition, FOFA will be giving away past exhibition catalogues, so don’t miss your chance to find a gem from the archives.

Snacks and refreshments will be provided, so bring a friend, bring your family, and come celebrate the Faculty of Fine Arts’ graduating class of 2026!

The Art Volt Collection is a curated, not-for-profit art rental and sales marketplace startup providing essential professional training and mentorship for recent graduates from Concordia University’s Faculty of Fine Arts.

Launched in May 2022, the Art Volt Collection represents important up-and-coming talents in a variety of visual arts media: painting, photography, drawing, print, sculpture, fibres, ceramics, installation, etc. To date, the Art Volt Collection has supported 85 artists, and about 130 new artworks will be added to the collection this spring.

Art Volt is generously supported by Power Corporation of Canada and other dedicated donors, with initial funding from the Peter N. Thomson Family Innovation Fund. We also wish to recognize the Concordia University Alumni Association’s generous contribution to the 2026 Art Volt Collection Launch Exhibition.

The FOFA Gallery is the primary venue dedicated to showcasing the current artistic and research practices of the Faculty of Fine Arts. Through exhibitions, publications, and events, the gallery makes public the work of Concordia alumni, faculty and staff. The Gallery also supports work from the student community, relating to the research and pedagogical aims of the Faculty. A space dedicated to innovation, FOFA Gallery fosters and facilitates pedagogical inquiries, curatorial experiments, cutting-edge artistic practices and training opportunities.
