Join us for a mid-week energy boost at the Multi-faith and Spirituality Centre! Members of the Concordia community are welcome to drop in for weekly community rhythm circles. Sessions will be facilitated by Dr. Irene Feher for eight weeks in the fall, after which they will be led by peer representatives from the Mindful Campus Initiative and the Multi-faith and Spirituality Centre. All levels of experience are welcome.

Facilitator: Dr. Irene Feher is a musician, sound artist and Concordia professor in the Faculty of Music. With over 27 years of teaching experience and a passion for healthy vocal production, Irene combines her discipline as a classically trained singer with her knowledge of vocal function exercises, somatic awareness, and improvisation to create a holistic program of vocal study that is catered to each person she works with.

Irene is dedicated to supporting musicians' wellness. She studied Musician's Wellness with Dr. Louise Montello (New York) and continues her own daily practice of meditation and yoga. Irene is a member of the teaching staff of Music for People, where she facilitates vocal improvisation and runs the Live Your Music program at Concordia.

This event is part of Campus Sustainability Month at Concordia, a month-long series of sustainability events and activities.
