The Health Initiative is proud to sponsor the latest instalment in the Centre for Clinical Research in Health (CCRH) Lived Experience Conversation Series:

Family Life and Living with an Eating Disorder: One Caregiver's Journey from Awareness to Action

Guest speaker Wendy Preskow is the founder and president of the National Initiative for Eating Disorders (NIED). She will be in conversation with Linda Booij, associate professor in the Department of Psychology and Concordia University Research Chair in Eating Disorders. Booij is also the co-director of the CCRH.

About the Lived Experience Conversation Series

The CCRH is pleased to host an innovative new conversation series that will feature a guest speaker with lived experience of mental illness. Guided by a CCRH core member, an open conversation about mental health, followed by a question and answer period, will take place.

About the Health Initiative

The Health Initiative at Concordia supports faculty members as they work at the intersections of disciplines to collectively focus on a range of health-related approaches across the lifespan, and with the involvement of citizens, community groups, policy-makers and other stakeholders.
