ISAE SUPAÉRO Summer Research Internship

L’Institut Supérieur de l’Aéronautique et de l’Espace (ISAE-SUPAÉRO) is offering Concordia Aerospace Engineering students the opportunity to complete a research project during their studies in Summer 2026 within the Institute’s research laboratories in Toulouse, France.

About the program 

Concordia Aerospace Engineering students can apply to do a summer research internship project at ISAE SUPAÉRO in Toulouse France for Summer 2026.

ISAE SUPAÉRO is one of the top aerospace engineering schools, the school delivers a unique, complete range of high level science and engineering degree programs.

ISAE-SUPAERO is developing a research policy that is very much oriented towards the future needs of industry in the field of aerospace engineering or high technology.

This proximity to the industrial world is also characterized by the development of a policy of sponsorship agreements in strategic areas and by the participation in teaching of many professionals who present to students the latest technological innovations and the best industrial practices.

Research projects

Select your project from the 2026 Research Projects @ ISAE SUPAÉRO. You will need to identify your selected project in the online application form.

Undergraduate students

Can select one of the following projects from the 2026 Research Projects @ ISAE SUPAÉRO: 

  1. Inclusion of safety considerations in the design of hybrid-electric distributed propulsion aircraft architectures
  2. Design and evaluation of an airship drone
  3. A Comprehensive Study of Stability, Flight Quality, and Aerodynamic Coefficient Identification for the MERMOZ Drone
  4. Safety-security methodology for UAV/UAS case study
  5. Integration and Assessment of Aircraft Performance and Fuel Consumption Models for Sustainable Aviation
  6. Design of Aerial Firefighting aircraft

Eligibility requirements

At a minimum a beginner level of French (A1/A2 level) is recommended by ISAE SUPAÉRO.

For undergraduate students 

  • Open to full time Aerospace Engineering undergraduate Concordia students. 
  • Students must be eligible for ENGR – 412 (approved students will be required to register for ENGR-412).  
  • Minimum CGPA 3.0  
  • Students must have completed 75 credits.

For graduate students

Funding

Concordia students approved for the internship will be eligible to receive the Quebec Mobility Bursary. 

The Quebec Mobility Bursary is funded by the Ministère de l'Enseignement supérieur and administered jointly by Concordia International and the Concordia Financial Aid and Awards Office.

The bursary value is $2,000 per month up to a maximum of four months for approved summer internships at ISAE SUPAÉRO in France.

  • An up-to-date CV
  • Student transcript (a non-official copy is acceptable as long as it is up to date). 
  • 250 - 500 word personal statement describing why you wish to participate in the summer research internship program and how it will contribute to your studies. 

Selection process: 

  • Applications will be reviewed by Concordia and ISAE SUPAÉRO.
  • Students will be contacted if they are selected by Concordia in mid February 2026.
