Base level services are offered at no cost. For extra storage, pricing is determined in collaboration with the IT Research Support team where a Service Level Agreement is drafted and costs are agreed upon upfront & reviewed annually. As a base level service, individual researchers may be allocated up to 100GB and recognized research groups allocated up to 1TB of storage at no cost. Additional storage is possible & allocations are determined in collaboration with the IT Research Support team.
Our file servers are located in a secured room where data is backed up on a nightly basis & copies are automatically stored on both SGW and Loyola campuses.
Yes, when drafting the Service Level Agreement, a "Responsible Person" is designated and they will be the primary point of contact regarding planned maintenance.
