FG Building :Closure and planned water interruption for 2 consecutive nights (24-032) - September 16 - 17 (23:00 - 07:00) and September 17 -18 (23:00 - 07:00)

To the users and occupants of the FG/ GA buildings,

A planned interruption of the drinking water supply (high-pressure and low-pressure aqueduct networks) is scheduled over two consecutive nights:

• Wednesday, 2026-09-16: 23:00 to Thursday, 2026-09-17, at 07:00 
• Thursday, 2026-09-17 : 23:00 to Friday, 2026-09-18, at 07:00 

The City of Montréal will be carrying out underground work to connect a new water main on Sainte-Catherine Street West, between Guy Street and Saint-Mathieu Street. As part of this work, the water supply serving the affected buildings will need to be temporarily shut off and subsequently restored.

Please note that this intervention may be delayed the day after due to weather or other unforeseen constraints.

General Information

• The building will be closed for the duration of the interruption.
• Agents will be present in building.
• Signage will be installed 
• The fire protection (sprinkler) network will be interrupted.
• Domestic water service will be interrupted. Washrooms, sinks & kitchenettes will be out of service.
• Washrooms will not be accessible for the duration of the interruption. 
• Allow the water to run if dirty water is observed following the work.
