FB Building - Elevator pit barricade installation - August 20, 2026 (08:00 - 16:00)

To the users and occupants of the FB Building,

A planned interruption of the FB Elevators is SCHEDULED for Thursday, 2026-08-20, between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00. The Installation of barricades in the elevator hoist way pits are required for new RBQ code compliance.

Building

    • S- FB / Faubourg Tower

Order of execution:

    • S-FB Bank 1 – ELEV5-6/ FREIGHTS (1 barricade)
    • S-FB Bank 2 – ELEV1-2 (1 barricade)
    • S-FB Bank 3 – ELEV3-4 (1 barricade)

General Information

    • This interruption will cause noise to be produced when the barricades                         are anchored in.
    • One elevator bank will be out of service at a time for approximately 2 hours.
    • During the installation of Bank 1 on ELEV5-6/ FREIGHTS, there will be no                     access to the freight elevator until the installation is complete.
