EV Building: Construction activity - July 23, 2026 (06:00 - 15:00)

To the users and occupants of the EV building,

A planned construction activity is scheduled for Thursday, 2026-07-23, between the hours of 06:00 and 15:00.

As part of work coordinated with the City of Montréal on St-Catherine Street, core drilling will be carried out through a foundation wall of EV building to install conduits for a future electrical connection between buildings, within a duct bank installed by CSEM. This construction is required as part of project  24-032 FB (Upgrade Electrical Infrastructure).

General Information

• Core drilling will be performed in the foundation wall.
• The work will take place exclusively in room S2-355.
• Interior protection measures will be implemented in the work area.
• Cleaning will be completed following the work.
• Noise is expected during drilling operations, primarily before 9:00 a.m.
• Material will be transported via the loading dock and elevator for a short period.
