VE-VL Building: Roof and Skylight repairs -Project 23-071 set to begin - July 1, 2026

To the users and occupants of the VE-VL Building,

A planned construction project to repair the roof and skylights on the VE-VL building is SCHEDULED to begin on Wednesday, 2026-07-01 at 05:00. The work is expected to be completed by the end of August 2026.

• L- VL / Vanier Library

General Information

• The building will remain open and accessible throughout the project.
• The main VL entrance will be closed during the crane lifting operations which will be coordinated at a later date.
• The majority of the work will take place on the exterior.
• When necessary, service interruptions and any work outside of the project area will be coordinated with users in advance to minimize disruptions.
• Areas directly underneath the Skylights will be blocked off for safety reasons.
