REVISED: FB /EV Buildings: Domestic water supply interruption due to City of Montreal maintenance work (24-032) - April 30 – May 1, 2026

To the users and occupants of the FB and EV buildings,

A planned interruption of the domestic water supply (high-pressure aqueduct network) is SCHEDULED for Thursday, 2026-04-30 until Friday, 2026-05-01 between the hours of 23:00 and 07:00. The City of Montreal will be carrying out infrastructure maintenance work on the water supply system along Sainte-Catherine Street West. To complete this work, it will be necessary to temporarily interrupt and subsequently restore the high-pressure water supply serving the affected buildings.
Please note: The scheduled intervention may be delayed due to weather conditions or other unforeseen constraints.

• S-EV / Engr, Comp. Sci. & Visual Arts Complex
   

General Information

• The buildings will be closed for the duration of the interruption.
• Domestic water service in the EV building will be interrupted. Washrooms, sinks & kitchenettes will be out of service.
• An agent will be present in both building.
• Allow the water to run if dirty water is observed following the work.
• Agents will be doing access control via the EV entrance, anyone not permitted will be turned away.
• The GM will still be accessible by this entrance.
• Parking of LB will be closed from 21:00 to 07:00; however, people may enter at any time to retrieve their vehicle.
• Signage will be installed to clearly indicate these conditions in both buildings and in the parking.
