UPDATE: EV-MB Buildings: Elevators service interruption - March 06, 2026 (08:00 - 16:00)
To the users and occupants of the EV and MB buildings,
A planned interruption of the Elevator Banks serving the EV and MB buildings is SCHEDULED for Friday, 2026-03-06, between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00. This interruption is required to allow for the installation of barricades in the elevator hoistway pits in accordance with the new RBQ Code compliance requirements.
Follow up work required:
North Bank 1 (ENCS tower) – ELEV1-3 (2 barricades)
South Bank 2 (ENCS tower) – ELEV4-6 (2 barricades) –bank with freight
South East Bank 3 (Fine Arts tower) – ELEV8-9 (1 barricade)
New Installations:
S-MB North Bank ELEV1-3 (2 barricades)
S-MB South Bank ELEV4-6 (2 barricades) –bank with freight

General Information
● Individual elevators will be stopped temporarily for installation of safety barricades.
● For access in the EV building from levels S1, S2 and S3, while the (ENCS tower – bank with freight) is out of service, please use the South East Bank 3 (Fine Arts tower) freight; the call button is on the frame of the unit.
● Elevators in the MB building will be programmed to access all floors during installation. Two elevators are temporarily out of service per barricade install.
