PC/ SP/ CJ/ HU Buildings: Emergency power interruption - March 02, 03, 09, 2026.

To the users and occupants of the PC/ SP/ CJ/ HU buildings,

A planned interruption of the emergency power  is SCHEDULED for Monday, 2026-03-02, Thursday, 2026-03-05, as well as Monday, 2026-03-09. This interruption is necessary to perform preventative maintenance including inspection of the generator, Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) and required quinquennial maintenance.

●        L- CJ / Comms. & Journalism Building.

        L-HU / Applied Science Hub

General Information

●        During these interruptions, emergency lighting and any equipment connected to emergency outlets that are not supported by an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) will be affected.

●        Normal electrical power will not be affected by this maintenance.

●        Generator maintenance will cause two 10-second emergency power interruptions.

●        ATS Visual inspection will cause two 10-second or two 5-minute emergency power interruptions.
