LB Building: Dust propagation during construction work at LB entrance -September 11, 2025

To the users and occupants of the LB building,

Dust propagation due to concrete scarification work occurred in the lobby and in offices at LB 185 this morning, 2025-09-11 between the hours of 07:00 and 09:00. This dust propagation occurred due to dust being pushed out of the construction site enclosures when the ventilation system turned on this morning. Once the issue was raised, work stopped immediately and a cleanup crew was sent to clean the dust that was propagated, and will also be sent again this afternoon once the remainder of the dust has settled.

Any work done tomorrow morning (and in the future) involving concrete scarification or demolition will be stopped by 07:45 in order to ensure that this incident will not be repeated. Furthermore, the site enclosure has been further secured following the incident.
