Loyola Campus: Interruption of circulation on West Broadway - August 21, 2025 - October 10, 2025 (07:00 to 12:00)

To the users and occupants of the Loyola Campus,

A planned interruption of circulation on West Broadway is required for infrastructure work, starting now, the week of 2025-08-21, and lasting approximately 6 weeks (2025-10-10). Daily work is scheduled between the hours of 07:00 and 12:00, Monday to Friday and 10:00 and 18:00, Saturday and Sunday. This interruption is required to accommodate the City of Montréal's replacement of lead water service lines (RESEP) on West Broadway, between Sherbrooke Street and Somerled Avenue.

● Rue West Broadway
    ○ Local circulation only between Somerled Avenue and Sherbrooke Street with access to private parking maintained.
    ○ Complete closure of West Broadway during paving work. Date to be determined.
    ○ Bicycle path closed (northbound) during RESEP work, two-way disruptions possible during paving.
    ○ Access to Concordia Loyola’s parking lot and loading dock will remain status quo during the construction period.

● Rue de Terrebonne:
    ○ Local circulation only between West Broadway and Avenue Westmore.
    ○ Terrebonne street parking will remain accessible during the construction work.

● Rue Sherbrooke:
    ○ Turning lane closed at West Broadway.
    ○ Partial circulation constraints.

● Avenue Somerled:
    ○ Partial circulation constraints at West Broadway.

Note:
- For local access to Concordia parking, please inform the attendant, who will then allow you through. Their default response is to deny access unless the purpose is specified.
- A complete closure is possible but will only be determined based on the progress of the work. Once in effect, it will result in inaccessibility to our parking from the usual route. In that case, access will be redirected through Terrebonne Street.
