UPDATE: SP, GE, HU Buildings: Interruption of domestic water - May 30-31, 2024 (20:00 - 07:00)

To the users and occupants of the SP, GE and HU Buildings,

A planned interruption of the domestic water is SCHEDULED to begin on Thursday, 2024-05-30 until Friday, 2024-05-31, between the hours of 20:00 and 07:00. Corrective and preventative maintenance is required to replace the booster pumps on the domestic water system.

●        L- SP / Science Complex

●        L- GE / Genomics Building

●        L- HU / Applied Science Hub

General Information

●        L-SP:  Domestic hot & cold water will be out of service on all floors.

●        L-SP:  Toilets, sinks, kitchenettes, and water fountains will be affected.

●        L-SP:  Emergency shower and eyewashes will be affected.

●        L-GE: Emergency shower and eyewashes will be affected.

●        L-HU: Emergency shower and eyewashes will be affected.

●        Access to the building will remain opened, with all chemical activities and work
          stopped during the shutdown.  

●        Fire pump and sprinkler systems will not be affected.
