Barry Pashak’s legacy inspires gift to Concordia’s Social Justice Centre

$1M from Calgary’s Flanagan Foundation further supports centre it helped launch in 2019

Natasha Pashak, MA 10, co-director of the Flanagan Foundation, describes how her father’s example of civic engagement and advocacy for equity across society inspires her family’s philanthropy and recent gift of $1 million to the Campaign for Concordia: Next-Gen. Now to further accelerate the work of the Social Justice Centre.

The centre opened in 2019 thanks to $200,000 in generous support from the Calgary-based foundation.
