A new phase of the City of Montreal’s Ste. Catherine Street West project began Monday, March 30, bringing road closures and traffic changes to the area surrounding Concordia’s Sir George Williams Campus.

Sections of Ste. Catherine Street West between Saint-Mathieu and Crescent streets are closed until mid-May.

Impacts on nearby streets

  • Two-way local traffic maintained north toward De Maisonneuve Boulevard West and south toward René-Lévesque Boulevard.

Guy Street (until the end of summer)

Work is scheduled Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. While most activities will take place during these hours, work may occur evenings or weekends as needed to minimize disruptions, particularly during work on water and sewer lines and near building entrances.
