Join the celebration at the Centraide 2025 Campaign closing event
Join your colleagues for a celebration of the Concordia Centraide Campaign on December 3, 2025 from 2 to 3 p.m. at the SHIFT Centre for Social Transformation, LB 145.
Campaign co-chairs Annie Gérin, dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, and Philippe Beauregard, chief communications officer, and Leader Campaign chair Denis Cossette, chief financial officer, will be there to mark the occasion. Those in attendance will learn of the total funds raised for Centraide, as well as the Pet Photo Contest and raffle winners.
Concordia held its first Centraide Campaign in 1975 — one year after Centraide of Greater Montreal formed and Sir George Williams University and Loyola College joined forces to create the new university. Funds raised for Centraide benefit some 800,000 individuals in Montreal and Laval and on the South Shore.
“The countdown is on for us to hit our goal of $200,000,” says Philippe Beauregard. “I’m sure we’ll do so yet again — and the closing event will give us an opportunity to celebrate another successful campaign.”
“We encourage our community members to keep on giving before the end of the campaign but also beyond, since the most vulnerable members of our society’s needs continue to grow. In fact, our final count for the year will include all gifts that we receive by December 31,” adds Gérin.
“For those who haven’t yet done so, please consider donating to the Centraide campaign or contributing through our remaining events. For those who already have given, please consider increasing your contribution.”
