Emergency Systems Testing

On Thursday, June 15, at 10:30 a.m., Concordia’s Campus Safety and Prevention Services (CSPS), formally known as Campus Security, will conduct a routine test of Concordia’s Alert System for Emergencies (CASE).

This test aims to ensure that our emergency communication procedures are functioning correctly and will help to identify any areas that may need improvement.

What to expect during the test

During testing, no action will be required on your part however, messages will be sent to the following systems:

  • Concordia computer desktop monitors
  • the Rave Guardian app
  • Concordia email accounts
  • Concordia’s RSS feed
  • Concordia phones

The message will begin as follows:

TEST TEST TEST – This is a TEST of Concordia’s emergency alert system. In the event of an actual emergency, this message would include important instructions to help keep you and our community safe. No action is required.
