Time to update your VPN software

Concordia switches to a new VPN service provider
August 24, 2018
|

On Monday, August 27, Concordia’s Virtual Private Network (VPN) service provider will be changing from Cisco AnyConnect to FortiClient. In order to maintain VPN access, you will need to download the new FortiClient software application.

Software downloads for Mac, PC and Linux machines will be available on the MyConcordia portal under the ‘software and applications’ tab on August 27. After this date, you will be unable to access the VPN without FortiClient software. Once you’ve successfully downloaded FortiClient to your system, please remove Cisco AnyConnect so as not to cause any confusion.

Please be advised not to use the VPN when accessing library resources, it is no longer required.

If you require a VPN client on a Concordia issued device, such as a laptop, please contact the IITS service desk at 514-848-2424 ext. 7613 or help@concordia.ca for assistance.
