Need to find the most influential articles in a particular subject area fast? Interested in tracing the history of an idea through the journal literature?

Start your search with Scopus, a powerful database of article abstracts and citations and one of the key actions designed to support Concordia's current Academic Plan. The plan's three main priorities are innovative and dynamic undergraduate offerings, graduate student recruitment, and investments in the libraries.

Scopus is one of the largest abstract and citation databases of peer-reviewed literature. It contains some 49 million records covering 20,500 titles from 5,000 publishers worldwide, and features many useful tools for tracking, analyzing, and visualizing research.

While originally developed as a resource for research in the scientific literature, Scopus has grown to provide impressive coverage of publications in the social sciences and humanities, too.

Concordia University Libraries are continually adding new electronic resources to their collections. To stay up-to-date with recent library purchases, check the What’s New section of the Concordia University Libraries web page.
