Alumni in the news

Our alumni are featured in the media locally and around the world. Vist the Alumni News section to access an archive of stories or read the latest list of stories:

  • The Montreal Gazette e-edition picks up a story from the paper version of the Gazette featuring local tattoo artist Jeff Wiens, a Concordia graphic design graduate who offers women free tattoos to cover mastectomy and breast reconstruction scars.
  • A critique appears in the Calgary Herald (reprised by Canada.com and My Informs) of the feature film, O, Brazen Age, produced by North Country Cinema, a media arts collective, now based in Calgary, which the paper notes was founded in 2005 by Concordia alumni Alexander Carson, Nicholas Martin, and Kyle Thomas. The three filmmakers met at the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema.
