• Musician and composer Martin Léon, a Concordia alumnus, tells an interviewer on the Radio Canada program, 'Les grands entretiens' that he discovered his passion for music on his first day of classes in Concordia's Faculty of Fine Arts.
• Memorial University publishes a news release announcing the appointment of finance professor Emmanuel Haven (PhD, finance) as Memorial's first Faseruk teaching chair in finance.
