  • Quebec MNA Filomena Rotiroti, a graduate of the political science program in Concordia's Faculty of Arts and Science, is among the new faces in the Philippe Couillard cabinet in Quebec City, where she now serves as government caucus chair: Le Journal de MontréalTVA NouvellesLe Huffington Post Québec (includes video, with Rotiroti at the 10-second mark as she takes the cabinet ministers' oath).
  • Droit-Inc announces the appointment of lawyer Stefanie Wlodarczyk (BA '08) as legal counsel at Union des Municipalités du Québec. 
  • The Madawaska Telegraph Journal (behind a paywall)  reports on a poetry reading by Laurence Hutchman (MA '79, English language and literature) on the Edmunston campus of Université de Moncton, last Friday.
