• LaPresse.ca reports that artist Nicolas Grenier (BFA '04) has won the City of Montreal's $5,000 Pierre-Ayot prize for emerging artists. It notes that Grenier was the project designer for the recent art exhibition, SIGHTINGS 17: The Time of the Work/Le temps de l’œuvre, le temps du travail. The show was hosted by the Leonard and Bina Ellen Art Gallery in the Hall Building SIGHTINGS Cube space.  
• The Montreal Gazette writes about the animated documentary short film, The Chaperone, directed by Fraser Munden, a graduate of Concordia's communication studies program.
• A CNW release announcing the appointment of Jamie Robertson (MBA) as a senior portfolio manager at Manulife Asset Management is picked up by Stockwatch, Yahoo! Sports, KLTV.com, WFMJ.com and WDRB.com.
• Concordia alumnus Bilal Mashhedi (BEng, civil engineering, '12), currently director of marketing of Montreal-based fashion designer, Mode-ste, is featured in The Globe and Mail.
• Accountant and financial consultant Raoul Heredia (BComm) writes about corporate restructuring management in Droit-Inc.
• Grenier aux nouvelles announces the appointment of Benjamin Dumas-Boisvert (BComm, marketing) as digital media strategist for the Prospek communication firm.
• Jonathan Villeneuve (MFA '09) is listed as a designer of the 'Loop: Giant Illuminated Wheels' interactive art installation, unveiled yesterday at the Place des Festivals , in Montreal's Quartier des Spectacles: e-architect.
• Blouin Art Info announces a show of the work of artist Jacynthe Carrier (MFA), on now through December 23 at Galerie Antoine Ertaskiran, in Montreal.
