• Noted philanthropist, alumnus J. Sebastian van Berkom, is featured in Le Journal de Montréal and Le Journal de Québec, which mention van Berkom's $1-million donation, last year, to establish the Van Berkom Small-Cap Investment Management Program at  the John Molson School of Business. 
• Annie Proulx (MA, Sir George Williams University, '73), author of Barkskins, is interviewed in the Ottawa Citizen(reprised in the Regina Leader-Post). Proulx received an honorary doctorate from Concordia in 1999.
• Christine Jones, (BFA, design for the theatre, '89) was interviewed today on CJAD's Andrew Carter morning show (no link available). Jones discussed her work as set designer for the two-act play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, currently on stage in London, UK.
• Author Guillaume Morissette (BA, creative writing, '13) is featured in Le Devoir. 
• Le Devoir publishes an article profiling sculptor and installation artist Andréanne Abbondanza-Bergeron (MFA '16 and MA, art education, '10) and mentions that her work was shown earlier this year as part of the Ignition 12 exhibition at the Leonard Bina Ellen gallery. 
• The Winnipeg Free Press (behind a paywall) reports that Winnipeg artist Brian Hunter (BFA 2007) has won the 18th RBC Canadian Painting Competition.
• Publisher Alexandre Assouline (Diploma in Graphic Design and Desktop Publishing '14 and BComm, marketing, '13)  is featured in Flaunt.
• New York City Biz List picks up an earlier release from Nexus BioPharma Inc. announcing the appointment of Helen Stefanovic (BSc) as its director of regulatory affairs.
• Artist Emily Jan (MFA '14) is featured in The Queen's University Journal.
• Experimental musician and alumnus Tim Hecker is featured in Le Soir (Belgium).
