• The Montreal Gazette publishes an article listing some of the more famous alumni of Montreal's universities, including, from Concordia, author and essayist Mordechai Richler (though the piece notes Richler did not complete his studies at Sir George Williams University), Concordia Chancellor Jonathan Wener (Commerce, 1971), Governor General of Canada from 1959 to 1967 Georges Vanier (Arts, 1906) and Pulitzer-Prize winning author Annie Proulx (MA, 1973).
• The Barnstable Patriot writes about a Baroque concert set for tomorrow evening at the Cotuit Center for the Arts in Cape Cod, featuring harpsichordist and Concordia alumnus Peter Sykes.
