- Global News Montreal continues its "Summer in the city" series with a look at the Montreal-based comedy troupe, Moving Mind Studio, which was founded in 2010 by a group of Concordia students.
- A CNW release announces the appointment of Susan Muir (BA) as vice president of investor relations and corporate communications at NewCastle Gold Ltd. The release is picked up by Money News, Stockwatch, PR Newswire, Yahoo! Finance and Shaw Connect. A separate release, posted by Noodls, announces that Muir will also be Vice President at Arizona Mining Inc.

- Elite women's rugby player Bianca Farella is featured in PanoramItalia. The article mentions that Farella played rugby for Concordia in 2009 and that her sister, Julia, is currently studying at Concordia.
- Novelist Annie Proulx ( MA, Renaissance economic history, Sir George Williams University, 1973) is featured in theKingston Whig-Standard. Proulx received an honorary doctorate from Concordia in 1999.
