- A release announces the appointment of Daniel A. Symons (BA, with honours) as Vice President, Investor Relations, at Argonaut Gold. The release is picked up by Yahoo! Finance.
- The Université de Montréal student paper Quartier Libre profiles a number of young entrepreneurs who have launched online tutoring services in recent months. Among them is Michael Hasenfratz (BEng, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, 2011), co-founder of Helpr, a mobile app offering tutoring services for over 200 university courses.
