  • Alain Cohen (BEng, 2004), the newly-named commander of the Fusiliers Mont-Royal Armed Forces Reserve unit, is profiled in The Canadian Jewish News.
  • Indie WireThe Wrap and Yahoo! Movies post an article announcing that Montreal filmmaker Florence Pelletier (BA, film production, 2013), has tied for first place at the Horizon Awards, honouring promising new female directors. Pelletier was noted for her film Mes Anges à Tête Noir. The Horizon Awards were presented as part of the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, last Thursday. 
  • Dove Press posts a brief review of a 2015 study titled 'Impact of single-walled carbon nanotubes on the embryo', co-authored by Dacian Roman (PhD, mechanical engineering), a former lecturer and research associate at Concordia.
  • Street Insider release announces the appointment of Robert Bechard (MBA) as vice president of corporate development at IntelGenx Technologies Corp.
