- Reporter, published by the Vanderbilt University Medical Center, announces that Walter Chazin (PhD, physical chemistry, 1983) is a recipient of the 2016 Fellow of the Biophysical Society award.
- Grenier aux nouvelles, writing about the 'Jeux de la communication,' next spring at UQAM, mentions the participation of Concordia alumnus Pierre-Luc Miville, who is cited.
- The Montreal Gazette's Bill Brownstein writes about the work of film director and camera operator Stephen Campanelli and mentions that Campanelli earned a film degree from Concordia in 1983. The article states also that Campanelli's action thriller Momentum had its local première in July at the Montreal Fantasia Film Festival.
