- The Indo-Canadian Voice and The Times of India profile newly elected Liberal MP for Dorval–Lachine–LaSalle, Anju Dhillon, who received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Concordia before studying law at Université de Montréal.
- Le Courier Laval reports that Concordia alumna Eva Nassif was elected with 45 per cent of the vote and will represent the riding of Vimy in the House of Commons.
