- University Affairs reports on Eric Weissman receiving the 2014 Distinguished Dissertation Award for the fine arts, humanities and social sciences from the Canadian Association of Graduate Studies for his work on homelessness.
- La Presse profiles Mario Rigante, the newly appointed senior vice-president, Quebec Division at BMO Bank of Montreal. Rigante graduated from the John Molson School of Business with a bachelor’s degree in finance.
- Kitco carries the announcement of John Costigan’s appointment as president and director of Electra Gold Ltd. Costigan holds an honours degree from Concordia.
