- The Lady in Number 6, a documentary film on which a number of Concordia alumni worked on, won the Oscar for best documentary short: The Montreal Gazette. Frédéric Bohbot, Concordia alumnus and the film’s producer, appeared on Breakfast Television and CBC Radio’s Daybreak this morning (no link currently available).
- Le Soleil interviews Yves Bélanger, who studied in the Department of Cinema, who worked on the film Dallas Buyers Club and starred Matthew McConaughey.
- The Milwaukee Business Journal profiles Mustafa Emir, who holds a doctorate from the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, for his work as Vice-President at Clark Dietz Inc.
- Amseco Exploration Ltd. announced the appointment of Serge Nana, who holds a Master’s of Science in Actuarial Science, as its CEO: Noodls and 4-Traders.
