- The McGill Daily publishes an article about Rock Camp for Girls Montreal, a program that brings together girls between the ages of 10 to 17 to learn and play music while learning tactics for eradicating sexism through empowerment. The camp was co-founded in 2009 by two graduates from the Simone de Beauvoir Institute.
- The Free Lance-Star profiles Kerri Durrett, who holds a graduate degree from the Department of Creative Arts Therapies.
