Artist statement

Founded in a creative writing practice, my work bridges sculpture, expanded textiles and drawing to braid history, biography and place. My interdisciplinary practice employs diaristic, improvisational and do-it yourself strategies to explore story telling and everyday life. I work towards imbuing inanimate objects and drawings with care by embracing intuition, curiosity and material exploration.
