Anthony Noce receives President's Excellence in Teaching Award

The department congratulates Dr. Anthony Noce, Economics Lecturer, Economic Policy course coordinator and Academic Code Administrator, for receiving a 2023 President’s Excellence in Teaching Award. The selection committee noted Dr. Noce’s innovative work in developing experiential learning opportunities for economics students, creating and hosting the Armchair Discussion series with Canadian Senators and his ability to keep students engaged through bringing economic models alive by relating them to current, real-world policy issues.

A three-time Concordia alumnus, Dr. Noce’s interest for engaging teaching techniques, as well as his past professional experience as a senior economist and policy analyst in three federal government departments, allow him to successfully bring together students from across Concordia in thoughtful and lively discussions around Canadian and international economic policy.
