Prosper Dovonon promoted to Professor

The Department of Economics is proud to announce Dr. Prosper Dovonon's promotion from Associate Professor to Professor, effective June 1, 2023.
His research has been published in top journals in Economics and Statistics such as Econometrica and the Journal of the American Statistical Association (JASA) as well as top econometrics journals like the Journal of Econometrics, Econometric Theory, and the Econometric Reviews.
Recent achievements include his appointment as Concordia University Research Chair (CURC) in Econometrics of Large Datasets (Tier 1) and as a Fellow of the Econometric Society. The latter led to his inclusion in the Provost's Circle of Distinction in 2022.
