Target audience: Open to all undergraduate (first to third year) Concordia students of an undergraduate business or STEM program

KPMG Ace the Case 2026 is a case competition for undergraduate business or STEM students across Canada. Teams tackle real business problems, present to KPMG leaders, build skills, collaborate nationally, and grow their network within KPMG in Canada.

The case competition for undergraduate STEM students, business students, or students looking to achieve their CPA designation will offer a taste of what it's like to work at KPMG and provide an opportunity to participate in a spotlight session showcasing the CPA support provided by our firm. By working in teams with peers in your region, you will collaborate to solve a real-world business problem and complete a case study through a business, digital, and CPA lens, where you'll receive valuable feedback from industry professionals. KPMG's Ace the Case is ideal for students who are interested in building a career in audit, tax or advisory at KPMG.

Winners of the local competition will be invited to our national competition where teams will present their case to a panel of KPMG leaders in Toronto.

Students are invited to apply individually, and if selected, will be grouped into teams. Teams will meet the following criteria:

  • Four to six students per team
  • Teams will be composed of more than one gender identity
  • Mix of accounting and other (general business/STEM) students on each team

Prizes for winning teams may include KPMG swag, scholarships, a trip to Toronto, and a guaranteed interview for an open KPMG role in a future recruitment cycle!
