Student intake for Master's program Fall 2025

Interested in a career in medical technology?

The Applied Master's in Translational Biomedical Engineering (M.Sc.A.) within the Department of Biomedical Engineering at McGill University enables students to become medical technology industry professionals, leading the design, development, and commercialization of biomedical technologies.

This relatively new non-thesis program offers students the opportunity to take courses taught by industry professionals and to participate in a 4-month long internship with industry. The 1-year program prepares students for a professional career in biomedical engineering. The application deadline for Canadians and Permanent Residents for Fall 2025 is June 21st. This virtual session will provide prospective students with information on the program and application requirements. Students will also be able to ask questions to the Graduate Program Director.
